So why am I the person to fulfil your needs ?

On contacting me I will try and establish what you are looking for, and then send you detailed information before any visit, of the sort of things you should be thinking about, and the questions that I will be asking of you, and will require answers to. Simple questions like would you like to be cremated or buried are much easier for you to think about prior to seeing me, rather then suddenly having it thrown at you and having to decide on the spur of the moment.

 I am qualified as an Associate of the Institute of Professional Will Writers – AIPW and an affiliate of the Society of Will Writers – ASWW and also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants – FCA, with many years Financial and Commercial experience to give you the best advice possible to suit your individual needs. I will show you proof of my qualifications on arrival at your home.

Because will writing and estate planning is APS’s only business we have the expertise and economies of scale to give you professional advice at a competitive price.

I live in Bury which means that I am located close to where you live and my hours of work are at a time to suit you, any day of the week. Beware of people who can only see you in the evening they are probably only doing this type of work part time to supplement their main line of work.

Prior to my visit I should be able to give you some indication of costs but costs are driven by a number of factors that can often only be established at our initial meeting. For example some people want to leave all their assets to their partner others have a list of 30 people that they want to leave various items to. I am sure that you can appreciate that the latter is going to be more time consuming and therefore more expensive then the former. The good news is that my initial meeting with you is entirely free and I will after discussions about your needs quote you a fixed fee for doing the work, which if you decline then you will have nothing to pay and will have no further commitment.

I consider myself to be a professional and the thought of giving you “the hard sell” would make anyone who knows me chuckle. I couldn’t do it even if I wanted to which I assure you I don’t. My best form of advertising is word of mouth and consequently I want you to be happy with my service and recommend me to your friends and relations.

I will then arrange at a time that is suitable for you, for me to return with the final documents for signing.
